A Norwich-based dog supplement company has gone from strength to strength after going nationwide with its product line-up.
Buddy & Lola, located in Elm Hill, has rolled out its range of dog health supplements to more than 25 stores across the country, as well as to the Pets at Home online store.
The business was founded by Harriette Phillips and Clare and Charles Millar in 2016, after they became frustrated about the quality of dog supplements on the market.
They said many products featured ingredients that would have little or no effect on dogs.
Made in Wymondham with all-natural ingredients, some of the company's products include probiotics for dogs with stomach upsets, itchy skin and digestion problems, as well as calming supplements and those used for diarrhoea relief.
Part of the company's mission statement is to spread awareness about dog health and help in reducing vets bills for owners.
"We want to help dog owners keep their pets healthy", Harriette said. "So that they don’t need costly visits to the vet due to illness caused by lack of nutrition or poor diet choices so they can live longer, happier lives."
The business works closely with local rescue centres F.A.I.T.H. Animal Rescue and Hillside Animal Sanctuary, helping to highlight dogs that need rehoming as well as regularly donating products to reduce running costs.
Rescue centres across the county have seen a steep rise in pets given up for adoption in the wake of the pandemic and the cost of living crisis.
The full range of Buddy & Lola supplements is available to purchase online.
