The owner of a kebab shop which received a one-star hygeine rating has said "next time it'll be five stars."
Carlos Gonul, 34, who owns Britannia Kebab and Pizza House in Cadge Road said a re-visit has already been booked in and assured his customers that the result will be different.
Mr Gonul said: "Next time it'll be five-star.
"I know every business has guidelines to follow but the last visit happened at our busiest time, Friday at 6pm, so things weren't going to be perfect.
"But I've never had a complaint from anyone before and I've been running the shop for years - we know what we're doing here."
The shop was inspected by Norwich City Council food and safety officers on January 20, which found "major improvements" were needed such as temperature control and potential cross-contamination issues.
However Mr Gonul said these problems have been resolved, adding: "We have the temperatures back within the necessary peramiters and everything will be kept clean."
The inspection can happen anytime within a month of it being booked.
