A busy city road is to be closed for two days and will see 10 days of lane closures for roadworks next week.
As part of works to test foundations at the Heartsease roundabout, there will be a closure of Plumstead Road East at its junction with the Heartsease roundabout.
The closure will be in place on Tuesday, March 28, and Wednesday, March 29, and the road will be closed between 9am and 4pm.
A signed diversion route will be in place via Plumstead Road East, Woodside Road, Salhouse Road, and Heartsease Lane.

Access will be maintained for properties within the closure and for emergency services.
There will be further traffic management at the Heartsease roundabout from Monday, March 27, to Friday, April 7, including narrowing lanes on the roundabout and approaching roads.
This work comes as part of the Transforming Cities Fund in preparation for the proposed improvement scheme to the Heartsease roundabout.
