A Norfolk developer has bid farewell to a site it has owned for a year with plans to build houses on it.
Attleborough-based Devlin Developments purchased Old Catton's deer park, in Spixworth Road, from the Buxton family in April 2022.

Old Catton Parish Council tried to purchase the park last year but their bid was rejected.
The council has now announced that it has bought the deer park from Devlin Developments for an undisclosed amount.
The company's director Lee Devlin said: "We’ve been in regular contact with the council since we purchased the land and they have always remained highly professional and worked in the best interests of the community.
"Our vision was only ever to develop a small portion of the site, with low-density housing on around two acres.
"The plan was to build a mixture of high-quality traditional-style homes in generous plots, with lots of new planting and landscaping.
"We had always envisioned donating the remainder of the park in order to give something back to the community, however unfortunately this was not meant to be."
