After a turbulent year for a number of businesses in the city one particular gift shop enjoyed a magical year.
Norwich Cauldron, in Magdalen Street, opened its doors to budding witches and wizards on March 26, 2022 and won awards in its first few weeks.
Rachel Watkins, who co-owns the shop with her partner Stephen Knock, said: "It feels great to be going for a year.
"When we opened we didn't know just how great the community behind us would be to help us succeed.
"Personal highlights were winning the Muddy Stilettos best new lifestyle start-up and how we've managed to expand the shop in such a short space of time with our interactive magical experiences.
"We've definitely got more items now as well. Looking back we didn't open with much but now the shop is packed out with lots of products from other small businesses."
The shop also celebrated International Harry Potter Day as well as offering Halloween-themed scavenger hunts and is looking to build on its successful 2022.
