Despite being open less than two years, a Norfolk restaurant in a historic mill has been awarded a coveted Michelin star.
Store restaurant launched in the back room of Stoke Mill in Stoke Holy Cross, on the outskirts of Norwich, in May 2021 serving a tasting menu from an open kitchen.
The head chef is Liam Nichols and the sous chef is Hazel Yuill, with Stoke Mill owners Andy Rudd and Ludo Iaccarino also business partners.
The mill, where the mustard seed used to be stored by Colman's Mustard, is also home to Stoke Mill Restaurant, which is one of 17 Norfolk spots in The Michelin Guide 2023.
Store joins Norfolk restaurants Morston Hall, Meadowsweet in Holt and The Neptune in Hunstanton with its one-star Michelin rating, which is decided by anonymous inspectors.
It is for places with "high-quality cooking worth a stop" and the top rating is three, held by only eight restaurants in the country.
Mr Nichols, 31, said: "The reaction since we opened has been very positive and we have lots of lovely regulars.

"When you start cooking you never think of getting a Michelin star so it is a huge privilege and when I found out I was emotional.
"There were also some of my old employers at the ceremony like Tom Kerridge from when I worked at Kerridge's Bar and Grill in London."
Mr Nichols puts Store's success down to the quality of food and service, with Becca Broom a "front of house superstar".
The listing in The Michelin Guide says: "Two personable chefs prepare and serve a multi-course tasting menu to just five tables of guests, which makes for an engaging yet relaxed dining experience.
"Ingredients from their own garden are used alongside prime produce from around the UK in modern, globally influenced dishes."
