A city wedding outfitter has applied for an alcohol licence to supply brides with liquid confidence ahead of their big day.
Pure Brides recently moved to a new store in Castle Meadow and has asked for permission to serve drinks to up to 60 guests and customers at a time between 8am and 10pm from Monday to Sunday.

In its application submitted to Norwich City Council, the bridal shop says it plans to offer alcohol during visits and viewings prior to its customers' wedding days to "enhance the experience".
The shop says it will offer alcohol as part of the overall "wedding attire experience" and will not be offering a walk-in bar.

Prior to the licence's approval, key staff are to be trained in the service of alcohol and Challenge 25 policy.
If approved the premises' licence will begin on April 24, while those wishing to comment on the application have until April 25.
The bridal shop is not the only odd place to plan to serve alcohol in the city, with Clockwork Barbers in St Gregory's Alley seeing an application approved for its full on-site bar.
