Fans of Tim Burton and Tom Waits are in for a treat as a deliciously dark cabaret is on its way to the city.
The Tiger Lillies have become renowned worldwide for their alternative cabaret and alternative rock trio music.
The world of The Tiger Lillies is dark, peculiar and varied, with moments of deep sadness, cruel humour and immense beauty.

The three-piece band consists of Martyn Jaques, Adrian Stout and Budi Butenop, who together create a unique theatrical sound and whose signature blend of chanson, opera, and Romany Gypsy music.
The Grammy-nominated and Olivier award-winning trio have been to Norwich more than once.
Front man Martyn Jacques said: “We’ve done lots of great shows in Norwich through the years.

“We get some real characters that enjoy our music and this certainly goes for Norwich.”
But should people buy a ticket?
Martyn said: “We are a bit spooky, a bit strange – there is a lot of dark humour.”

The Tiger Lillies will appear at the Norwich Playhouse on Friday, May 12.
