From theatre shows to a family funfair, these are some of the best cheap or free events running in Norfolk over the Easter holidays.
1. Easter-themed trails, Norwich
Where: Chantry Place, NR1 3SH/Castle Quarter, NR1 3DD
When: April 1-16/April 3-17
Price: Free
Chantry Place is running a free Easter trail, with maps available from Langleys and prizes up for grabs. The RSPB will also be there on April 4, 7, 8, 9 and 13 with nature-inspired family fun.
At the Castle Quarter, pick up a trail sheet from outside Boots and see if you can spot all the bunnies and chicks, with the chance to win a £50 voucher for the centre and an Easter egg.

2. Captain Calamity Speggtacular, Great Yarmouth/Sheringham

Captain Calamity has conjured up a great new Easter show with all the craziness, magic, science and bubbles that audiences love.
Prepare to gasp and giggle as he brings springtime fun to two locations along the Norfolk coast.
3. Norfolk Artisan Fair in Spring, Fakenham
Where: Fakenham Racecourse, Fakenham, NR21 7NY
When: April 1 and 2: 9.30am-4pm

The Norfolk Artisan Fair launched in 2021 and runs twice a year at Fakenham Racecourse, with a spring and Christmas market.
The upcoming fair will feature more than 100 stalls with local food, drink and craft businesses to shop from.
4. Free Family Fun Day, Cley
Where: Cley Marshes Visitor Centre, Coast Road, Cley next the Sea, NR25 7SA
When: April 2, 10.30am-4pm
Price: Free
There is free entry to the reserve for every child and their accompanying adult all day, with hands-on activities in the activity centre.
There will also be the chance to hunt for freshwater beasties at the pond-dipping platform from 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

5. I Spy With My Little Eye, Norwich
Where: The Maddermarket Theatre, Saint John's Alley, Norwich, NR2 1DR
When: April 3, 2.30pm

This new interactive musical will see the audience help a little girl and her adorable dog find a missing treasure chest by solving clues, singing songs and discovering objects.
It is based on the popular children's book by Steven Lee and was created alongside education and child development experts.
6. Easter Funfair, Norwich
Where: Chapelfield Gardens, Norwich, NR2 1SF
When: April 5-10, 12noon until late
Price: Free entry, rides individually priced
The annual Easter Funfair, organised by The Eastern Section of the Showmen's Guild, returns to the city with everything from waltzers to dodgems to enjoy.
On Friday, April 7, families are in for a special treat with Dinosaur Invasion promising free prehistoric fun in the park from 2pm to 6pm.
7. Mini Easter Feast in the Park, Holkham
Where: Holkham Estate, NR23 1AB
When: April 10-16, 11am-4pm
Price: Parking: £5 per day, free entry
Bring your picnic blankets as Holkham is bringing back its Feast in the Park event for a miniature version ahead of the summer season.
There will be at least six food vendors each day, ranging from The Duck Truck to The Wood Kitchen with wood-fired pizzas.
