A massive Easter fun fair has returned to the city centre, opening as the sun shines ahead of the bank holiday weekend.
The annual Easter Funfair will be open in Chapelfield Gardens until Monday, April 10 from midday until late with free entry.
It is organised by The Eastern Section of the Showmen's Guild and includes traditional favourites such as dodgems, waltzers and a fun house alongside rides for thrill-seekers as well as fairground games, candyfloss and hot dogs.
New for 2023 is the Dinosaur Invasion, which will run from 2pm to 6pm on Friday, April 7 with huge dinosaurs roaming the event.

Organiser Frankie Harris, said: "It is hard out there - our costs are rising just as much as anyone else, but we are doing our best to keep prices to a minimum - you've still got to have some fun.
"The fair is as big as last year - we always look forward to coming here and we love the area in the city centre. The surrounding gives it everything, with all the trees.
"Hopefully people will come and spend their hard-earned money."
Rides will cost around £2 for children's attractions and £3 for adults, with discount vouchers available online and in local shops.
