Even youngsters can take part in a mock crime scene investigation during the Easter bank holiday weekend.

Midnight Rebels Studio, which hosts seasonal events in its 2,000sqft warehouse on Drayton Industrial Estate, is hosting CSI Norwich which is suitable for eight-year-olds and older.

Creator Anna Sparkes, who opened the space in 2022, Said: “There’s something about crime mysteries that capture people’s attention, this puts you right in the middle of it."

But Anna rates CSI: Norwich as PG - as it’s more about testing problem-solving skills than blood and guts.

The experience uses the reports and evidence bags familiar to crime drama fans, but this is no Poirot.

Amateur sleuths will use up-to-date NFC (near-field communication) technology, which allows devices like phones and watches to exchange data across short distances. Using a smartphone near these tags will reveal hints vital to helping solve the case.
