A man has been charged in connection with drug offences following a police raid on a city property.
Police executed a drugs warrant on Lower Clarence Road, Norwich at around 6am yesterday (April 20).
During a search of the property, officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine and heroin along with drug paraphernalia, including mobile phones and scales.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and taken to Wymondham police station for questioning.
Marcus Parkes, aged 28 and of Lower Clarence Road, Norwich, was later charged with:
- Being concerned in supply of heroin
- Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs – heroin
- Possession with intent to supply Class A drugs – crack cocaine
- Obstructing police
He is due to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court this morning (April 21).
