These fascinating pictures from our archives show the damage suffered by Norwich from Luftwaffe bombing raids during the city's Blitz, in the Second World War.
Air attacks on the city culminated in the so-called Baedeker raids in April and May 1942, when the Germans selected targets for their cultural and historical value, rather than as strategic or military sites.
Many prominent Norwich buildings, including churches, as well as homes, were destroyed, and more than 200 people were killed.
Our pictures show the aftermath of these and earlier raids.
