A dog that was found abandoned outside a supermarket is now hoping to change his fortunes after a traumatic start to life.
Wilmott, a five-year-old rescue dog from Romania, was found outside the shop in a horrific condition.
He was emaciated and had developed a painful skin condition which left him bald.
But he is now being fostered in Norwich and is healthy after making a recovery aided by the charity Safe Rescue For Dogs.

The long-haired German shepherd is described as "a ridiculously friendly boy who has nothing but enthusiasm for meeting new people".
A spokeswoman for Safe Rescue For Dogs said: "Wilmott is a little bit clumsy and not the cleverest but he's very eager to please."

Wilmott's skin condition will need to be continuously monitored and he has some hip issues typical to the breed which means he needs to be exercised less.
Safe Rescue for Dogs operates from Norfolk but works with adoptee families and fosterers nationwide.
If you would like to adopt Wilmott or one of the other dogs in the care of Safe Rescue for Dogs you can do so by contacting the charity at 07888 251197 or emailing saferescue@hotmail.co.uk.
