A beloved Norfolk pub will reopen in the summer following a major revamp after changing hands earlier last month.
The Kings Head, in Blofield, closed in April after previous owners Melanie and David Hoadley announced that they would be moving on and new owners would be taking over.
At the time, Melanie said: "It's with great sadness that we have to move on from the pub."
In a post on social media on Sunday, the new owners said: "We understand that there has been a lot of talk about the refurbishment of the pub, and we're pleased to share with you some of the details about the upcoming changes.
"Firstly, we want to assure you that the Kings Head will continue to operate as a public house, with no changes planned for the main bar area and the restaurant.

"We are looking forward to introducing our new menu which will feature high-quality, locally sourced produce and will be launching this seasonal menu once we have a confirmed opening date."
Some of the updates to the premises will include the installation of a new kitchen and equipment, an outdoor adventure play area for children, and an overhaul to the exterior of the pub which will be updated with flowers, shrubs, trees, and bushes.
The new owners said in order for them to complete all of the renovations the pub would remain closed for an undisclosed period but that they hope to reopen in early July.
"We are all looking forward to and are ready to begin our next chapter at the Kings Head," they said.
"The pub will be a family-run business, and we are excited to welcome you all."
