A new store has been announced for Norwich's Chantry Place - as a respected brand returns to the city.
Women’s footwear retailer Moda in Pelle is opening its doors in the shopping centre on June 7.
The new store will be on the lower ground floor, opposite Lush, replacing Menkind, which closed its doors last week after it could not agree on a new lease.
Moda in Pelle previously had a shop at Back of the Inns which closed in 2019, opposite the Jojo Maman Bebe store - which closed in January.
It promises to be a summer of change at Chantry Place with the long-awaited Urban Outfitters store planned to open in June.
Paul McCarthy, general manager of Chantry Place, said: “The opening of Moda in Pelle will be a fantastic addition to Chantry Place, with its wide range of stylish women’s shoes and quality bags and accessories, and it will be the first store in the region, so we are very happy that they have chosen to open at the centre.

"Of course, we are also due to welcome Urban Outfitters soon, so this is set to be a fantastic year for the Centre.”
Moda in Pelle was founded in 1975 and has over 40 retail stores and concessions across the UK. The store stocks a selection of sandals, court shoes, trainers and flats.
The store will be hiring a team of 10 people.
