Sylvester the cat has become something of a campus celebrity at the UEA and now the famous feline even has his own line of merchandise.
The well-known moggie is regularly seen strutting around by university students and staff, paying visits to lectures and sleeping on the library information desk.
When it comes to online presence, Sylvester’s popularity does not waver. He has a Facebook fan group that boasts over three and a half thousand members.

The group, run by his owner Emily Birkett, helps her keep track of his movements and a record of what he gets up to.
She said: “When he first started wandering off, I was understandably worried, but having a Facebook page where people post pictures of him enjoying university life means I always have plenty of eyes watching him.”
Sylvester’s army of fans constantly updates others on his adventures including Polly Morgan, associate professor in law at the UEA.
Polly recently posted that Sylvester - who is microchipped and neutered - had made an appearance in a feminist theory lecture before settling into the law clinic, adding: "He is a cat of many talents.”

With his army of fans, the ginger and white tom with a stub tail was the perfect choice for the university to launch some merchandise in aid of a good cause.
Alice Ladbrooke, divisional marketing and communications manager for sport and commercial services at UEA, said: “We had been discussing new lines of merchandise featuring campus favourites that better represented people’s time at university.
"Obviously, the first UEA icon I thought of was Sylvester, whose adventures have captured the hearts of students and staff alike.
"With 10% of all profits going to Norfolk and Waveney Mind, we hope to not only spread joy but also contribute towards a great cause that promotes mental health awareness and support.”
The T-shirts and hoodies are available from the UEA campus shop.
