A motorist has described getting trapped in her car after it began 'floating' on floodwater caused by the heavy rain.
Patricia Gunby, who is in her 70s, was driving her black Mini along Gunton Lane, New Costessey, when the water became too deep for her to continue.
She was unable to go backwards and as other vehicles carried on driving past her, they created waves which caused the Mini to float.
Ms Gunby was eventually rescued after a member of the public stopped to tow her out of the water.

The incident happened during heavy thunderstorms, at 5.15pm on Tuesday, May 9.
"I had to be rescued, it was terrible. I was just stuck there in deep water with no idea what to do," she said.
"The car was floating, buses were going past me and any other vehicles going past would create waves over my small car.
"Thank God for the man that rescued me. He was passing by and then went home and got his wellies and tow rope and pulled me out."
