The owners of a popular mobile dessert business are enjoying sweet success as they gear up to expand onto Norwich Market.

Gemma Wade, from Sprowston, has been selling her handmade chocolate bars online for the last five years and in 2022 she rebranded her business from Love My Bakes to The Chocolate Bar Baker.

To coincide with the rebrand she created The Liquid Chocolate Bar in a converted horsebox with her husband Chris, which offers a range of desserts with melted chocolate and toppings.

The horsebox has proved very popular, with pitches at events across the county, including Junkyard Market, that will continue.

She has now secured a spot on Norwich Market at stall 126, in the former Chimneys stall, and it will be called The Chocolate Factory by The Chocolate Bar Baker and open on July 1.

Mrs Wade said: "We will be doing build-you-own dessert cups alongside cake shake loaded milkshakes and dippers, with skewers of things such as cheesecake or fruit with melted chocolate and toppings.

"I am completely overwhelmed by the growth of the business over the last year."
