Plans for expansion have been submitted by a popular food hall in the city.
Yalm opened in the city last November following the significant redevelopment of the former Jamie's Italian site.
The food hall is now looking to open onto the walkway of the Royal Arcade with outdoor tables, submitting a licence application to Norwich City Council.
The area will be able to accommodate up to 60 covers from 5pm to 11pm once neighbouring shops close for the evening.

It will be served by the nine food and drink vendors inside the hall.
This move comes as the Yalm team gears up for its first summer season.
The food hall also submitted plans last month to create a courtyard with a covered canopy on the White Lion Street side of the historic shopping mall.
It recently opened a new dessert bar operated by Milk offering everything from pastries to soft serve.
