A woman in her 30s has been stabbed in her stomach near a Norwich church.
Officers were called to St Miles Alley, off Colegate, at 00.53am on Tuesday, May 23 following reports of an altercation between a man and woman behind St Miles Coslany Church.
Police discovered a woman suffering from a stab wound to her stomach.
The woman was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for medical treatment and remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A man in his 20s was arrested in London on Tuesday afternoon and was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning, where he remains in custody.
Detectives are in the early stages of their investigation but believe the two people involved are known to each other.
