A section of the A146 has been closed in both directions for emergency repairs to the road.
The busy road was closed due to water main work on the A146 Loddon Road at Thurton, between Ashby Road and Back Lane, yesterday.
Anglian Water crews are on the scene to carry out the repair works, which may last until midnight on June 5.
FirstBus reported the disruption would have an impact on the X21 and X22 services between Lowestoft and Norwich and there would be long delays due to having to divert via Ditchingham and Poringland, adding 20 to 25 minutes to journeys in each direction.
