From chart-topping acts in a town centre to a food and drink extravaganza, these are some of the best free festivals coming to Norfolk over summer 2023.
1. Festival Too, King's Lynn
Where: King Staithe's Square, PE30 1JE (June 24 and 25)/Tuesday Market Place, PE30 1AX (other dates)
When: June 24, 25, 30, July 1, 7 and 8
This free music festival returns to west Norfolk for its 39th year and it runs over three consecutive weeks.
Among the acts performing include Liberty X, Feeder, Example, Neville Staple of The Specials, D:Ream and Newton Faulkner.
2. Wymondham Food and Drink Festival, Wymondham
Where: Market Cross, Market Place, Wymondham, NR18 0AX
When: June 25: 10am-4pm
This festival returns for its second year and it is a celebration of local food and drink, organised by the Wymondham Rotary Satellite Group.
There will be 60 stalls in the town centre, offering everything from cakes to gin, street food vendors and the Wymondham Makers' Market with crafts.

3. Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival, Great Yarmouth
Where: Britannia Pier, Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2EH
When: July 1: 10am-6pm, July 2: 10am-4pm
The Great Yarmouth Wheels Festival takes place along the seafront, from Britannia Pier to St Nicholas Car Park, and it is free both for visitors and those wishing to display their vehicles.
Donations are encouraged for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and highlights over the weekend include motorbike show Ken Fox's Wall of Death and the Red Dragon Monster Truck.
4. Lord Mayor's Weekend, Norwich
Where: Various locations in Norwich city centre
When: July 7 to 9
A carnival atmosphere will come to Norwich in July as the Lord Mayor's Weekend returns with a jam-packed programme of free activities and events.
The Lord Mayor’s Procession will be on Saturday, June 8, which will have the theme Sights of the City in 2023, and the Norwich Lanes Summer Fayre returns on Sunday, June 9 from 11am until 5pm.

5. Gorleston Clifftop Festival, Gorleston
Where: Marine Parade, Gorleston, NR31 6EX
When: July 29 and 30, timings TBA
Gorleston Clifftop Festival is a free entry festival for all the family and it attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The full programme is yet to be announced but it will include live music, a children's arena and dog competitions, with food stalls and bars on site.
