From Daleks and Darth Vader to a tipsy tavern tour, here are some of the best things to do in Norwich on Father's Day this Sunday, June 18.

1. Meet Darth Vader and Daleks 

Where: Chantry Place, St Stephens Street, Norwich, NR1 3SH

Timings: 10am-4pm 

Price: Free, donations encouraged 

Have an out-of-this-world Father's Day at Chantry Place at a special sci-fi fundraising event for the charity Break. 

NORCON and Norwich Droids will be bringing characters including Darth Vader, Daleks, Stormtroopers, Droids and Ghostbusters to the lower ground floor near HMV.

2. Tipsy Tavern Trail Tour 

Where: The Red Lion Bishopgate, 79 Bishopgate, Norwich, NR1 4AA

Timings: 1.30pm-4.30pm

Price: £45pp (over 18s only), fully wheelchair accessible, book at theshoebox.org.uk

The Shoebox Experiences, based at Castle Meadow, is running its Tipsy Tavern Trail Tour on Father's Day and it will last three hours and go on a meandering 1.3-mile route through the most scenic parts of the city.

There will be four drinks to enjoy along the way and it will end at The Murderers in Timber Hill with a Q&A with your tour guide.

3. Brotherhood 

Where: Norwich Theatre Playhouse, St Georges Street, Norwich, NR3, 1AB

Timings: 2.30pm/7pm

The multi-award-winning all-male youth dance company Legacy is back with a brand new show Brotherhood which shows that having each other’s backs means everything.

4. Junkyard Market 

Where: St Mary's Works, Duke Street, Norwich, NR3 1QA

Timings: 12noon-7.30pm (also open Friday 5pm-10pm and Saturday 12noon-10pm)

Head to Junkyard Market to soak up the sun on Father's Day, with this weekend's street food traders You Dawg, Wingin it, NutCupz, Urban Burger, Abruzzo Kitchen and Stakehaus.

All dads enjoy a free drink when you book a table for Sunday.

5. Sunday Pub Quiz

Timings: 8pm start (arrive early to get a table) 

Price: £2pp to enter (cash only) 

Head to this much-loved Golden Triangle pub for its Sunday quiz night, with pub vouchers up for grabs for the winners.
