From 'Orange Dress Girl' at the Arctic Monkeys to a local drummer invited on stage at The Killers, these superfans stole the show at Norwich gigs.

1. Georgia Bristow
Arctic Monkeys fan Georgia was very entertaining as she danced the night away from the back of the pitch standing area at Carrow Road, with people sitting in The Regency Stand chanting her name.
Her routines included cartwheels and the splits and following the show she became a social media sensation, with videos shared widely calling her 'Orange Dress Girl'.

2. Grace Ellis
When The Killers rocked Carrow Road in 2022, the band picked 17-year-old Grace Ellis, from Worlingham in Suffolk, to accompany them on the drums for the 2007 hit For Reasons Unknown.
Grace's performance was met with deafening applause and speaking to us after the gig she said it was a "once-in-a-lifetime experience" and that she had come to the concert after finishing her last AS Level exam.

3. Jan Mulder
If you have been to a gig in Norwich then chances are you have seen the wonderful Jan, from Lowestoft, having the time of his life dancing and singing along in the front row.
In March 2020 he was invited up on stage to rap Battlestar live with 5ive at The LCR and in March 2022 he performed with The Wanted at the O2 Arena.
4. Josh Ryan
Back in 2019, Josh Ryan was given an unexpected break when Stephen K Amos invited him on stage to close his set at the Norwich Playhouse.
Josh, from North Walsham, had been the subject of friendly teasing by Stephen and during the exchange, it had emerged that the 24-year-old was himself a comic.
After the gig, Mr Ryan got new followers on social media and Mr Amos congratulated him and said to keep in touch.

5. Steve Drury

While not a gig that happened in the city, Norwich man Steve Drury was met with huge applause when he proposed to his girlfriend Stephanie Mann on stage at the Peter Kay show in Birmingham in December 2022.
Ms Mann, a legal secretary, said: "Peter was so accommodating and such a lovely guy and Steve proposing to me on stage was perfect.
"My message to Peter Kay is a massive thank you and he is invited to the wedding!"
