A section of a major road in Norwich city centre will close for the day while £29,000 works take place.
The A147 Queens Road will be shut from 7am until 1pm on Sunday, June 25 from 35 metres southeast of the A147 St Stephens Roundabout to 110m southeast of Brazen Gates Junction.
This is while a road rejuvenator is sprayed onto the road surface and it requires time to soak into the top layer.
This is the first application of this material at this site and it is hoped that through this work the road surface will last a number of years longer than without.

The diversion from the A147 St Stephens Road roundabout will head south along the A11 St Stephens Road and from Brazen Gate it will go north onto All Saints Green.
Access to properties will be maintained although some delays are expected.
The work will cost £29,000 and is being carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and its contractors.
