A search for a time capsule buried more than 50 years ago at a primary school has come up empty.
Ashleigh Primary School and Nursery in Wymondham have been on the search for a time capsule in the hopes they could dig it up to celebrate their 50th anniversary.
Staff at the school know at least one capsule was buried within the school grounds back in 1973.

But their pleas have proved unsuccessful as they have only been able to locate a rough area where it could be, which would mean digging up their brand new concrete playground.
But with the location so uncertain, the school will not be digging up the concrete.
They are sad they will likely never find the time capsule left for them by previous alumni, but instead are looking forward to the future.

A school spokeswoman said: “If we ever bury one in the future we are going to make sure it has a plaque marking the site.”
As part of the school’s 50th anniversary, they will be holding a summer fete with a retro theme on Saturday (June 24).
