A highly-rated Chinese and Thai takeaway on the outskirts of the city has been handed a one-star hygiene rating.
Happy Valley in West End, Costessey, received the rating after a food safety officer from South Norfolk District Council carried out an inspection of the premises in May 2023.
The business was judged as requiring improvement in hygienic food handling and the cleanliness of facilities.

It required major improvement in the management of food safety.
The rating comes despite Happy Valley receiving positive online reviews from customers - with the takeaway being rated 4.5 stars out of 5 on Google.
Some locals said it was "the best Chinese takeaway you can get in Norwich", while others described it as "absolutely amazing" and "good value for money".
It is understood the business has made swift changes and is hopeful its rating can be improved once another inspection has been carried out.
Happy Valley was approached for comment.
