A young pup that was dumped outside a shelter and had a potentially fatal disease is looking for his forever home.
Hector, a 16-month-old Romanian Shepherd, was found in Romania in March this year.
He has been nursed back to health after contracting parvovirus and is now looking for a new family in Norfolk.
Hector was only a few weeks old at the time he was found and was "lucky to survive", according to his rescuers.
He is currently in the care of Safe Rescue for Dogs in Norwich who help rehome dogs found abandoned in Romania.
He is described as a "playful, handsome and comical dog that everyone adores" and would be best suited to being rehomed with a family that has at least one other dog.
People interested in giving Hector a new home can call Safe Rescue for Dogs on 07788251197 or 07899844524.
