Clothes-crazy city folk could soon have a new place to shop with a designer brand set to open in the former home of Jojo Maman Bebe.
Dune London is planning to open in 10 Back of the Inns after the baby shop which previously occupied it closed at the start of the year.
The shop will offer an array of men's and women's bags, shoes and accessories and previously had a store in Chantry Place.
Jojo Maman Bebe closed at the site on January 22, after the company was acquired by high street giant Next. The closure meant the closest store for city folk was in Bury St Edmunds.
The new opening comes as a number of new retailers plan to launch this month including Piglet and Chestnut in Chantry Place, a new YMCA charity shop in St Stephens Street and the Pascale Store in London Street.
Ahead of plans to open, the London-based designer has applied to Norwich City Council for planning permission to install new illuminated signs at the front of the store.
It is hoped a decision on the fixings will be made by August 16, with a public consultation due to end on July 14.
