Plans have been submitted to convert a former bowls club site into a wellness centre.
The building in The Common, Swardeston, was built in 1992 but has been empty since April 2021 due to a "lack of support and interest".
An application submitted by Mrs Rachel Sillett seeks to regenerate the building "by doing some basic essential maintenance and redecorating for the purpose of a yoga and wellbeing centre".

Plans are at an early stage and no specific details of what the yoga and wellbeing centre will include have been released.
But the works would include the refurbishment of the kitchen and toilet facilities, redecoration, additional insulation and the "improvement/updating of the current electricity supply".
There is no proposed expansion to the building.

The old bowling green and surrounding hedges outside would be managed and maintained by Mrs Sillett's husband and their company A Sillett Tree Surgeon.
The application has received no objections from South Norfolk Council's environmental quality team.
Further consultations will be carried out with the parish council and Norfolk County Council's highways team.
