Drivers are being warned delays are "likely" later this month when works commence on a section of busy city road.
One of Norwich's main arterial routes, the A1074 Dereham Road will see a number of roadworks carried out between July 24 until September 5.
Stretching from Gurney Road to Longwater Lane, the works will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption, providing highway improvement as well as repair and maintenance.
The works come as part of the £32m Transforming Cities Fund scheme that will see a series of changes around Norwich.
