3. William and Florence

6. The Champion

Many reviewers call the pub "cosy", "traditional" and a "real hidden gem".
The Batemans pub sits just off the St Stephens roundabout and is a regular post-work pit stop - especially with happy hour between 5pm and 6pm.

7. The Malt and Mardle
Where: 163 Magdalen Street, Norwich, NR3 1NF
Malt and Mardle was opened in July 2021 by couple Emily Bridges and Elliot Dransfield, and the team has since been hard at work to expand its carefully curated selection of craft ales and local brews.
The venue has just 334 sqft inside and is one of the city's smallest pubs offering just one room for up to 40 people to gather.
