The search for a parking space reached new heights at a city supermarket this week.
Morrisons, in Albion Way, became a little trickier to navigate for customers after a Renault Scenic got stuck outside the entrance to the Riverside shop.
The roadside feature became the centre of attention for those doing their weekly shop.
Among them was Liam Calvert, Green city councillor for Wensum ward, who spoke to a number of people at the scene.
He said: "One gentleman expressed disbelief that a driver could crash their car so badly.

"A mother with a young child told me her first reaction was amusement, but the more she thought about it the more she worried, saying 'there are so few places we can feel safe from the dangers posed by poor drivers'.
"Another man said 'maybe they should leave it there as there are plenty of people who shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car and this would stand as a reminder'."
A Morrisons spokesman said: "The incident happened earlier this week, no one is hurt and we are working with the driver to remove the car."
