A city restaurant specialising in barbeque has been named one of the best local eateries in the country by a major food guide.
Brix & Bones, in London Street, was featured in the list of 100 top restaurants by the Good Food Guide, out of a total of 37,000 nominations.
Brix and Bones previously opened as a steakhouse in September 2020, but due to a lockdown a few months later it did not fully reopen until January last year.
It was initially added to the guide after only eight months of being open.

In a post to social media, the restaurant celebrated the result, saying: "The whole team at Brix would like to say a huge thank you to everyone that voted for us.
"This award means so much to us as it ultimately comes down to the people that dine in our restaurant.
"We also want to thank our amazing staff, past and present, whose hard work has helped to get us to where we are today."
Stiffkey Red Lion, in north Norfolk, also made the list.
