A Golden Triangle pub is launching an American-style brunch menu featuring s'mores French toast and breakfast tacos.

Former Brix and Bones chef Iain Carter started Bubba Kitchen at The Earlham in Earlham Road in May and has seen an "exceptional" start.

Following its success, which has seen the pub quadruple its trade on Mondays, Mr Carter will be starting brunches on Saturdays and Sundays.

The vast menu includes American pancakes, breakfast tacos, English muffins, s'mores French toast, waffles and an American breakfast.

Customers can choose from an array of toppings for their pancakes with options such as cheesecake, marshmallow fluff and streaky bacon.

And Mr Carter has put a stateside twist on the English muffin with BBQ burnt ends and peppered brisket among the accompaniments.

Mr Carter said: "I can't believe how busy it has been and Rose and I are over the moon. It helps us both out with it going so so well.

"I am solely doing Bubba now, so am working to expand much more and use the building to its maximum.

"We have a set of regulars who come in a lot and a lot of hospitality staff who are off on a Monday but many places are closed."

The kitchen is also set to open on Sunday evenings and will feature a cross-over menu of dishes from Monday nights, accompanied by items such as Biscoff burgers.

Mr Carter believes his success is down to affordable prices, quality ingredients and keeping the menu updated.

Bubba Kitchen is launching the brunches on July 22 from 9.30am to 2pm.
