A full-size replica of a Boeing 737 will soon be welcoming aspiring pilots aboard for a spin in one of the world's most famous aeroplanes.
Skybound Simulations, based in Poringland, just outside of Norwich, is one of only two 1:1 flight simulators in the county and is gearing up for an August lift-off date.
The immersive experience, helmed by Paul Ashford, 47, a software engineer with a passion for flying, will feature full sound effects and vibrations, with the capability to fly into and out of any airport in the world.
"It will be a great experience for people who have a fear of flying to see what actually happens in the cockpit," Paul said.

"We have an instructor station where we can replicate any possible failure, such as an engine fire on take-off, bird strike, or stalling.
"It's a real chance for people to face their fears or simply try something they never have before."

Onboard the fixed base rig is also a virtual Air Traffic Control centre that will allow visitors to fly a round-trip flight, complete with a full flight plan as a pilot would in a commercial aircraft.
The fully-assembled Boeing 737-800 simulator has made its way all the way from Copenhagen, taking a 450-mile journey to get here, which Paul said was a "fantastic opportunity".
Experiences will start from £35 for 15 minutes, as well as having 30, 45, 60 and 90-minute bookings.
Ahead of its opening, Skybound is running a competition to allow one person a free session aboard the simulator.
