The first day of a Norwich festival that was due to get started this afternoon has been cancelled due to expected high winds and rain.
The Magic of Thailand weekend had been planned to start today (July 15) with Muay Thai boxing, street food and a beer garden as part of the festivities.
Earlham Park was set to be transformed with the sights and tastes of Thailand but the event has been cancelled.

Organisers postponed it due to a yellow weather warning which is in place for Southern England, including Norfolk and Suffolk.
Organisers said on social media: "It is with regret that we must announce that the festival will not be going ahead.
"The Met Office yellow warning of extreme high winds means that as a matter of public safety we cannot deliver the festival as planned."
The festival's second day is going ahead though, organisers confirmed this afternoon, with Sunday's planned fun between 10am and 7pm not expected to be affected by the weather.
