A busy city road will face a peak-time closure later this month. 

Yarmouth Road will also be closed on July 30 between 7am and 1pm, from the Railway station to the traffic lights on Clarence Road.

There will be a diversion via the A147 at Riverside, Koblenz Avenue, Canary Way, Carrow Road and Clarence Road.

A road rejuvenator will be sprayed onto the road surface which requires time to soak into the top layer.

Norfolk County Council is following a regime of preserving asphalt surfaces which it claims is both good for the environment and good value for money.

Access to properties will be maintained throughout the work which will cost £28,907, although some delays will occur.
