A man has been arrested in a city suburb after making threats to kill.
Police and fire crews were called to Griffin Lane in Thorpe St Andrew at 7.56pm on Wednesday following reports of an assault.

A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested on suspicion of assault, affray and threats to kill during the incident which emergency services dealt with until 3am on Thursday.
He was taken to Aylsham Police Station for questioning where he remains.
