Board game cafés have popped up across the UK in recent years and a new event in a historic Norwich venue will build on this popularity.
The first Norwich Games Convention is coming to The Halls on Saturday, August 26 2023 from 10am until midnight.
There will be more than 40 exhibitors filling 60 stands in St Andrew's Hall until 6pm, including local favourites such as Slice and Dice, Athena Games and virtual reality from Norwich VR.

Other highlights include tabletop role-playing games until midnight in The Crypt, with pre-bookable spaces, and an auction and a bring-and-buy sale in Blackfriars' Hall.
Also in Blackfriars' Hall for the whole day will be a bar and local food vendors.

This will include Slice and Dice based in St Benedicts Street, which serves a plant-based menu.
The event has been organised by couple Stacey Sanderson and John Anthony, who are both big fans of board games and have been talking about doing this event for many years.
