A year ago he set out to open the city’s friendliest gym – where people would train in smaller groups and have one-to-one support to reach their goals.
Now that dream has become a reality as the doors to the new Perun Strength gym opened in Bank Plain, next to Fosters Solicitors.

Marcin said: “It’s been a year since I decided to turn my idea into a reality, the process of getting my own space set up has definitely been educational and at times very challenging.
“Watching the idea transform into something tangible really gave me the extra confidence that this is the right thing to do.”

“The feedback we have had so far is fantastic. People wanted somewhere that they would feel welcome, comfortable and not intimidated - and it looks and feels like we have achieved that.”
Marcin wants his industry to work towards making spaces much more welcoming so that people are better able to impact their lives for the better.
He said: “I strongly believe this space will have a positive impact on the lives of people who will walk through that door. I cannot wait to see where we will be a couple of years from now.”
Perun is charging clients a monthly fee of £150, for three or four coached training sessions a week.
