A new city chicken shop has launched a bid for outdoor seating in preparation for its opening in September.
Grilled chicken chain Cluck'd is opening in the former Westlegate site of Mindoro, which closed in 2019.
The Ipswich-based business will replace the store's shop front and refurbish its interior with new tables and chairs, alongside a digital menu board.
Bosses also say the restaurant - which will be open every day from 11am to 11pm - will employ 30 to 40 members of staff.

A licence application submitted to Norwich City Council has revealed plans for seating directly outside the Cluck'd shopfront, either side of the entrance of the premises.
If approved, the area will consist of four tables and eight chairs - with customers moved inside after 10pm to allow time for cleaning.
Outdoor seating has proved to be contentious in the city at times in recent years, including in Timberhill, Exchange Street and St Benedicts Street.
When departing the unit in 2019, Mindoro blamed weeks of disruption to trade in the area after a chunk of cladding was blown off Norwich's Westlegate Tower.
