A new NR3 foodie hotspot will open later than planned after its owners ran into some delays.
The new milkshake haven, under the name of Thick Shake Lab, was set to be opening its doors in Sprowston Road at the end of last month.
The store is set to be a late-night spot opening from 10am to 11pm seven days a week.

However, there has been little sign of movement in the shop, previously occupied by a milkshake shop called The Shake Pit.
The owner of Thick Shake Lab has said: “We are slightly delayed but will have everything together by the end of August.”

The shop is set to have more than 20 flavours of gelato as well as serving well-loved desserts like waffles and sundaes.
But perhaps their most anticipated item is their milkshakes, which come with a warning for being highly addictive, due to their consistency and flavour which the owners think is unlike any other milkshake.
They also intend to offer sourdough sandwiches with the menu offering options including Smoked Lebanese Lamb Shawarma and Israeli-style smoked beef pastrami.
