A city restaurant has been named one of the best eateries in the country to "save your summer" by the Good Food Guide.
Benedicts, in St Benedicts Street, featured in the 23-strong round-up alongside a number of top London restaurants as a go-to summer eats destination.
An introduction reads: "It's been a damp squib of a July and early August, but with the promise of a return to sunnier weather this week, here's a reminder of what summer eating can be all about."
Praising its "genuine happiness" and "colourful" cooking, Richard and Katja Bainbridge's city-centre bistro offers six or nine-course menus that boast bright and contemporary flavours.
