A large police response was called to a city courtyard following an assault in which a woman was injured.
Units were called to Polypin Yard, near King Street, at 5.15pm yesterday (August 15) following reports of an assault.
Emergency services attended the scene and the woman was treated for minor injuries.
A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested in connection with the incident and taken to Aylsham Police Station for questioning, where they remain.
Enquiries are currently ongoing.
