Plastic fencing which has been left dumped in a Norwich city centre street for months is to finally be removed.
The emergency barriers were erected in Ber Street at the mini roundabout with Finkelgate to allow work on a collapsing utility cover to take place, but after they were put up Norfolk County Council could not trace who the cover belonged to.

High winds have seen the fencing blow into the road and tumble across the pavement causing a trip hazard, with commenters on social media worried the "dangerous" site could cause serious injury.
It comes after more than 15 roadworks signs were dumped in Hainford and left abandoned for more than 18 months before the county council finally agreed to remove them last month.

Following complaints about the Ber Street barriers, a county council spokesman said it would now be carrying out the works itself and removing the signs upon completion.
He said: "These barriers were around an old utility cover that was collapsing. We have been trying to find out whose it is but without success.
"Therefore, we will be carrying out remedial works ourselves shortly."
