People have been invited to slip into their best clobber and walk the catwalk to help a mother who has been in hospital for months fighting cancer.
Rebecca Turner, from Hethersett, found out she had stage three melanoma cancer after feeling pain in her back.
She was pregnant with her second child at the time of her diagnosis and in order to undertake lifesaving treatment the 30-year-old had to terminate her pregnancy.
Currently receiving treatment at the Priscilla Bacon Lodge hospice in Norwich, Rebecca is determined to survive to honour her baby.
Now her friends are organising a beauty pageant to raise further funds for Rebecca and her family to keep their heads above water financially while she fights for her life.
Amy Howard, 36, from Costessey, is behind the event.
She said: “Myself and Rebecca met many years ago when my daughter Evie, who is now 14, began doing modelling and pageants.
“I hit it off with Rebecca straight away and a few years later she had Arielle and I had Evie, who are both now four.
"We bonded so much while being pregnant together and went to baby classes.”

Rebecca has a background in pageants and modelling, and with parking charges and other prices rising Amy wants to ensure they raise enough to cover all charges, and a holiday for the family once Rebecca is strong enough.
Amy said: “The pageant will be all about her, with a pyjama round, a Disney round and even a pink round for people to get stuck into.
"With no experience needed, we hope everyone will have fun."

The event is £25 per person, which includes a crown and certificate for every entry, and there are categories for all ages.
Amy said: “No one should have to go through what Rebecca is going through – Rebecca wants to fight this to watch her daughter grow and keep her baby's memory alive.
“We are all fighting with her.”
Those interested should search 'Rebecca's fight charity pageant' on Facebook or contact Amy Ann Howard on Facebook.
The Pageant will take place at Park Farm Hotel in Hethersett on Saturday, September 30, with signing in from midday.
