From the long-awaited reopening of House of Fraser to the closure of a huge sports retailer, here are all of the changes that have been happening at Chantry Place in Norwich.
1) Moda in Pelle
Shoe shop Moda in Pelle, located on the shopping centre's ground floor, took on the unit formerly occupied by Menkind.
Meaning "fashion in leather", Moda in Pelle makes everything from sandals and trainers to heels and pumps.
The brand was founded almost 50 years ago and designs all of its shoes in Britain.
2) Fraser's
The shopping centre announced earlier this month that House of Fraser would be reopening as 'Frasers' on September 18 following extensive renovation work.
Fashion brand USC will take over the first floor of the store, with Evans Cycles and Game among the brands expected to move into the second floor.
House of Fraser has been closed since December 2022.
3) Sport's Direct
The huge sports retailer announced that it would be closing its store in the shopping centre earlier this month.
The brand will be relocating to the upper floor of Frasers.
A mystery fashion brand is set to move into Sports Direct's former home.
4) Urban Outfitters
Urban Outfitters opened its first Norwich store in July.
The new store, in the former Carluccio's unit, is spread over two floors.
It offers a "well-curated mix of on-trend women’s and men’s clothes" as well as shoes, hats and bags.
The only other Urban Outfitters in East Anglia is in Cambridge.
5) Piglet and Chestnut
Piglet and Chestnut is a macrame shop owned by former UEA student Gem Spalding-Tunnicliffe.
Macrame is a popular 70s craft that involves a knotting technique used to make a variety of creative hanging home decorations.
The shop is set to open on August 30 and will sell macrame products including wall tapestries, plant hangers, and nursery accessories.
It will be located on the lower ground floor of the shopping centre until January 2024.
The summer what's on content in the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News is sponsored by Chantry Place in Norwich.
