More than 8,000 maps have been handed out at Chantry Place as youngsters go on a summer safari trail at the Norwich shopping centre.

The free trail began on July 22 and continues until Sunday, September 2, with 10 large animal sculptures to be found.

An elephant, a panda and a gorilla are all waiting to be found with trail maps to be found in the Deichmann store on the lower ground floor.

"Our sculptures vary in size and people are loving selfies with our huge gorilla on Chantry Square and our hippo, panda and other animals inside.

"We have 10 animal sculptures to find and feedback from families is that they have enjoyed the trail as it is free and has given the family something fun to do in between shopping and grabbing a bite to eat in the city."
